Julie Dorfman MA, RD, LDN is a Registered Dietitian and Nutrition Therapist working in her private practice in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Julie provides nutritional counseling and nutrition therapy to women and men of all ages, with an expertise in treating adolescents and women with eating disorders. Her mission is to help people have a healthy relationship with food and their bodies.
Julie received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Muhlenberg College and then received her Master’s Degree in Nutrition Education from Immaculata University. She completed her dietetic internship through Immaculata University. Her passion for psychology and nutrition led her to the field of eating disorders, where she worked at The Renfrew Center in Philadelphia for over 8 years. Her expertise is in nutrition therapy for anorexia, bulimia and compulsive overeating. While working at the Renfrew Center, Julie served as the Director of Nutrition Services, managing dietitians at inpatient and outpatient facilities across the Northeast United States. Through her work experience Julie has had the opportunity to speak at numerous conferences, and has been highlighted in numerous television, radio, and newspaper interviews.
